About Us

THE BRAND

Herve Leger created the bandage dress. Founded in Paris in 1985, the house became known for a signature technique of elastic knit bands that sculpt and contour the body. The dress debuted in 1989 and became one of fashion’s most recognizable silhouettes and it has defined red carpet glamour ever since.

The house has evolved beyond the dress that made it famous. What began with the bandage dress now includes gowns, dresses, skirts, separates, knits, and accessories that reflect the many ways women dress today. Recent styles have been worn by Michelle Obama, Kaia Gerber, Tate McRae, Olivia Dean and Alix Earle. The original is still the most current silhouette in the room.
